'Chicago Fire' Season 6 Spoilers: Tension Rises Between Matthew Casey and Kelly Severide on Episode 5

A rescue mission leads to a showdown between lifelong friends on the upcoming episode of "Chicago Fire" season 6.

Titled "Devil's Bargain," next week's episode will see Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) collide. The two firefighters find themselves at odds due to their conflicting opinions about how a teenager entangled in barbed wire should be saved. Casey turns to Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) for advice, but later realizes he must handle the situation on his own.

Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) goes out on a date with a dashing doctor she met during an ambo call, while Hope (guest star Eloise Mumford) and Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) argue over a payroll problem. Elsewhere, Brian "Otis" Zvonecek (Yuri Sardarov) asks Casey to join a beta test for an expensive Japanese-made firefighting equipment.

The promo opens with Casey arguing with Severide during a rescue mission. A frustrated Casey snaps at Severide and says, "I'm making the call." Their heated discussion continues at the firehouse when Casey confronts his friend about how he keeps on "bucking the chain of command."

In other news, a character from "Chicago P.D." is heading to the series soon. Monica Raymund, who plays Gabriela "Gabby" Dawson, confirmed to TV Guide that Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) will be appearing in multiple episodes this season.

Antonio is meeting up with his sister, Gabby, to deal with a "situation" involving their father Ramon (Daniel Zacapa) who becomes hospitalized. "You're gonna see Antonio come over to [Chicago Fire] for a few episodes," Raymund revealed.

Ramon's last appearance on the show was at the beginning of season 6. He decided to live with Casey and Gabby, but their new living arrangement caused more tension inside the house. It took some time before Ramon eventually decided to move out and find another place to live.

The sixth season of "Chicago Fire" airs every Thursday night at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
