Chris Brown and Drake Entourage Member Meek Mill in Bar Fight Over Rihanna? (VIDEO)

Chris Brown has been injured and had to go in for stitches on Wednesday night, after a presumed fight broke out between the R&B singer and rapper Meek Mill.

It was initially reported that Brown was injured when fellow R&B artist Drake, who was previously captured partying with Brown's ex, Rihanna, took a bottle to the "Don't Wake Me Up" singer. However, Drake's reps later came forward and stated that Drake was not involved in the scuffle. Instead the injury is believed to have been caused by Meek Mill.

The brawl began in a New York City night club. Reports stated that Drake and Brown were seen together in the V.I.P. section of the club. Both of the singers and the their entourages began to trash talk each other when a more aggressive verbal assault was begun by Meek Mill. Brown reportedly reciprocated with his own verbal attack. The physical fight broke out when an unidentified person threw a bottle on the floor, according to TMZ.

"Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began," Drake's reps told TMZ. Although Mill was a part of Drake's party, "[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property."

It was confirmed by the NYPD that a fight did ensue, with five injured during the brawl. Both Brown and Drake had exited the club by the time police had arrived, between 4 and 5 a.m.

"How u party wit rich n**** that hate? Lol... Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya!." Brown posted on his Twitter after the incident.

Although initial reports suggested that the fight had begun over Rihanna, who has been spotted on different occasions party with all three men, a source later told TMZ that the brawl had nothing to do with the "We Found Love" singer.
