Chris Brown, Rihanna Grammy Awards Date: Brown to Escort Rihanna Despite Car Crash

After recently announcing that they have reunited, Chris Brown and Rihanna have plans to attend the Grammy Awards as a couple.

Four years ago on the eve of the Grammy Awards, the R&B couple split after Brown hit Rihanna during a domestic violence dispute that took place in the car following a party.

The couple has been rumored to be dating but it was not until last month that Rihanna confirmed the reunion despite public criticism.

"Even if it's a mistake, it's my mistake," she said of her and Brown's relationship during in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine. "After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I'd rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it."

On Saturday night Brown was involved in a car crash that resulted in his car being totaled and towed away. The singer allegedly crashed his black Porsche into a wall after stating that he was being vigorously chased by paparazzi, according to a Reuters report.

The accident however does not appear to be getting in the way of Brown escorting Rihanna to the Grammy's where she will perform on stage alongside Bruno Mars and Sting.

"Rihanna's turned up and getting into that performers frame of mind right now," a source told the Hollywood Life. "She's focused and looking forward the the Grammys and [she] will be with Chris the whole night, so you know that's going to be extra ******* special. He already told her he would go with her, so its a wrap."

On Wednesday Rihanna attended court with Brown who could now face new charges for allegedly faking his community service given by a judge in 2009 after Brown plead guilty to hitting Rihanna.
