Chris Brown's Mother, Karrueche Tran Pray for Singer After Seizure

Chris Brown, the 24-year-old singer-songwriter, reportedly suffered from a seizure recently that prompted his mother and on-and-off again girlfriend Karrueche Tran to pray for the entertainer.

The L.A. City Fire Department was contacted by someone at the Record Planet recording in Los Angeles, Calif early Friday morning, according to TMZ. There, Brown reportedly suffered from a seizure but refused medical treatment or an evaluation from the personnel that arrived on the scene.

While Brown has yet to comment on the matter, his on-and-off girlfriend Karrueche Tran took to Twitter to let the world know she was praying.

"Prayers all day," Tran tweeted Friday. " A lot on my mind today .. I need a hug."

Brown's mother, Joyce Hawkins, also took to Twitter amid reports of her son's health issues.

"God is with you angel, and mom is too," she tweeted.

Before the seizure, Brown recently made headlines for allegedly wanting to give up on music. The singer reportedly tweeted and then deleted the post about his frustration with fame.

"Don't worry mainstream America," Brown tweeted on Aug. 6. "After this X album, it'll probably be my last album. … Being famous is amazing when it's for ur music and talent. I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I'm cool & over it!"

After Brown had his probation revoked last month, he let the world know how much he was leaning on God during trying times.

"Love you Team Breezy. I hope people can actually see the truth," Brown tweeted. "My cross is heavy but God gives me the strength to carry it."

Last month Brown also tweeted the scripture, "2 Corinthians 12:10." The scripture in the New International Bible states, "That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
