Christian Band Casting Crowns Bumped From No. 1 by Adele on Billboard 200

British pop singer Adele returned to the top spot of the Billboard 200 album chart Wednesday with "21," preventing Christian rock band Casting Crowns from cherishing its first top place on that chart with their new album, "Come to the Well."

The Christian band topped the chart briefly on Wednesday, only to be pushed down by Adele, who, by making this comeback, got her album to be number one for the 13th week, which means that it is the first album since the "Titanic" soundtrack to claim as many weeks atop the chart, according to Reuters.

Casting Crowns are currently number two on the weekly ranking of the 200 highest-selling music albums and EPs in the United States. The disc has sold 99,000 copies in its first week of release.

"Come to the Well" is the group's fourth top 10 album, and the second to reach number two, after 2007's "The Altar and The Door," according to Billboard. The group's previous record, "Until the Whole World Hears," debuted at number four with 167,000 CDs sold.

Adele's album "21" sold 106,000 copies to pass the 4 million sales mark last week. It is the best selling album of 2011 so far, with Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" far behind at 1.9 million sold albums. Adele is reportedly planning to follow-up "21" with a live CD and DVD release on Nov. 29 that was taped during a performance at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The top 10 albums for the week also include "American Idol" winner and Christian Scotty McCreery's "Clear As Day," which rose from fourth to third place. Next comes Evanescence's album, "Evanescence," which was number 4 Thursday, followed by Tony Bennett's "Duets II" at number five. Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter IV" was at number six, R&B singer Joe at number eight with "The Good, The Bad, The Sexy," and Lauren Alaina's "Wildflower" in tenth place.
