Christian convictions and testimonies back in Swiss politics

In Swiss politics more and more prominent people testify to God and Chrisitian values again. The politicians and ministers start talking about a 'revival of religion' among Swiss politicians in positive and critical ways.

In the ordination of governers, the president of the national parlament started the session with the Swiss national hymn which is based on Christian contents and has been neglected in the recent time. This event caused public interst.

Also two of the seven federal counsels are getting interested more and more in a value system that is based on the Christian religion.

They are taking into account Christian values such as 'responsability, freedom, humility' in their politics. Thomas Wipf, president of the national protestand church assembly mentioned a protestant movement in the federal counsel.

Evangelical Christians are looking attentively at the religious revival among the Swiss governers. For there are the signs of weed and signs of wheat.

Besides the ones who are honestly touched by Christianity, some other politicians might abuse the spiritual sensibility of the population for their own interests and take Christian values as a protection for their politics.

Therefore, evangelical Christians are focusing of a spiritual counseling for politicians and hold intensive intercessary prayers for the leaders of the country.
