Conrad Murray Death Threats Intensify After Release, Police to Provide Assistance
After news broke that Conrad Murray was being released two years after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson, death threats began to scatter the virtual landscape.
"He f------ killed my idol!" user @kidrauhldk wrote on Twitter. "How the f--- can they just release him. I'll f------ find Conrad Murray, and I'll f------ kill him."
Toni Sanchez, @Tsbcn, added, "Can anyone kill f------Conrad Murray please? Thank you in advance!"

Conrad Murray was released from Los Angeles County jail early Monday. News of the pending release prompted reporters and fans of Michael Jackson to wait outside of the jail for Murray, but Los Angeles sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore stated that authorities assisted in escorting Murray off the premises due to safety and security concerns.
Murray, who was hired as Jackson's personal physician to oversee his care during what was to be his last world tour, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011 in addition to having his medical license revoked.
The doctor allegedly injected Jackson with 100mg of Propofol- four times the amount that a person may ingest safely- in order to help the pop star sleep. The prosecution contended that not only was Conrad wrong to administer the anesthetic drug, which is only meant to be used in a hospital setting, but also that he is responsible for Jackson's death because he was not properly monitoring the star's condition and delayed making a 911 call for 20 minutes after realizing Jackson was not breathing.
Murray had previously stated that he intended to apply to have his medical license re-instated, but members of California's medical community said he would face strong objection.
There have been no confirmed direct threats against the former doctor and police have stated they would investigate any credible threat that may develop.
