'Counting On' News, Spoilers: Joe and Kendra's Wedding Day to Be Featured in Show

Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell got married in a simple ceremony in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and the couple is now ready to share their wedding to the world. The couple exchanged vows on Sep. 8, and now, "Counting On" fans can witness their joy this Monday, Oct. 23.

Joe and Kendra exchanged vows on Friday, Sep. 8, at the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs. An early peek at their special day was premiered on TLC GO a week later on Sep. 18, but it's just now that fans can witness the event via a one-hour special this Monday at 9 p.m. on TLC.

By all accounts, the ceremony was a happy occasion for the couple, who celebrated with friends and family that day in Arkansas. "It is an amazing feeling to be husband and wife," the 23-year-old groom said at the time, as quoted by People.

"It's something that I've always dreamed of to have a wife and to raise a family in a way that honors the lord. We are to very excited to see what God has in the future for us," he added.

For this Monday's special, TLC has covered a surprise that even the couple themselves did not expect, as hinted at in the episode summary. Every fan knew that the wedding was a blast, but what are these "few surprises in store" that greeted the couple on their special day?

Fans can find out as TLC rolls out their one-hour wedding special later today, at 9 p.m. EDT. The show will also feature short takes on their pre-wedding preparations, which might show the couple enjoying a Mexican table with some ice cream for their rehearsal dinner.

The couple also held a reception at the church's gym, where they served snack food and coffee, to thank everyone who was helping them prepare. These include Josiah, who stood by Joe as his best man, while 19-year old Kendra had her sister Lauren as her maid of honor.
