CP World Report: Jewish School Shooting, Saudi Arabia, Afghan Shooting Suspect, Kate Middleton

The search is still on to find a gunman who shot three children dead and a rabbi at a Jewish school in the southwestern French city of Toulouse. The age of the children: 3,7 and 7. French president Nicolas Sarkozy issued a statement saying the killings seemed to have anti semitic origins. In recent days, two similar shootings have targeted soldiers. In each incident, police say the same calibre weapon was used by a gunman on a motorcycle. The city is said to be in lockdown as police hunt for the gunman.

The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia has declared "it is necessary to destroy all churches of the region". Sheik Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah based his decisions on a story by Mohammed on his deathbed where he says: there must not be two religions in the Arabian Peninsula. In Saudi Arabia, Churches have always been banned and until recently, Jews were not allowed in the country.

Regional manager Aidan Clay of International Christian Concern has described feelings about the future of the Christian Copts in Egypt as "desperate" since the death of Pope Shenouda III the head of Egypt's Coptic Christian Church. The Patriarch was seen as the "protector" of the vulnerable Church in Egypt. The country now ruled by Islamist parties has seen a surge in violence against Christians since the ousting of President Hosni Mubarek.

The personal friends of Afghan shooting suspect, Staff Sergeant Robert Bales, say they are shocked by the accusations. The 38 year old Ohio native is suspected of going on a shooting rampage... killing 16 Afghan civilians. As Jackie Condedo reports, friends of Bales say they can't imagine him hurting anyone.

The Bible Society is negotiating with the Olympics Committee on whether it can hand out bibles during the 2012 Summer Games in London. During the 2008 games in Beijing, the Society handed out special edition bibles with the Olympic Logo on the cover. But this year, it's not being allowed in London, so instead, special sports bibles, featuring pictures of athletes will be featured. But that's if bibles are even allowed to be handed out.

The Duchess of Cambridge made her first sole official speech yesterday. Prince William's wife, Kate spoke at the opening of a children's hospice facility in England. The Duchess also met with patients at the facility and planted a tree.

Cell phones and vehicles can be a deadly combination. A Littleton, Colorado father has created an App for cell phones that blocks calls, emails, and texts while driving. Troy Orner is a father of triplets who are only eight, but he was affected by the meaningless deaths on the road caused by people texting while driving, so his work began two years ago, as 
Eric Kahnert tell us.
