CP World Report: Memorial Day, Syria Massacre, Myanmar, Sharon Stone and Bible

Exciting news for Christians: Researchers are claiming to have discovered the exact date that Jesus Christ was crucified. This is according to a new geological study released in the "International Geological Review" just this week. To uncover the date of the crucifixion, scientists studied seismic activity in the Dead Sea. They did it because Chapter 27 in the Gospel of Matthew says that an earthquake coincided with the crucifixion of Christ. Then the scientists factored in information from all four Gospels together. They determined that the best match for the date of crucifixion was: Friday, April 3 in the year 33.

Canada's Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird called the attacks …..very disconcerting because of its depravity while British Foreign Secretary William Hague called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council this week. The UN has put the death toll so far in Syria at 9-thousand.

Actress Sharon Stone is being sued by her former nanny of four years. Erlinda Elemen says Stone made derogatory comments about her Filipino ethnicity, and also allegedly attacked Elemen's Christian beliefs. The suit states that Stone criticized the nanny for regularly attending church and, on one occasion, told her she wasn't allowed to read the Bible, even in her own room. Stone says the lawsuit is absurd and that she will be vindicated in court.
