President Obama announced a compromise in the major dispute over whether to require full contraception insurance coverage for female employees at religiously affiliated institutions. Women will still be guaranteed coverage for such services free of charge, but the president is now letting those universities and hospitals opt out.
For female employees who work in a church, they're out of luck. They'll have no guarantee of any contraception coverage-- a continuation of current law.

In keeping with marriage week, after winning the Republican primary in three different states and rejuvenating his campaign, presidential candidate Rick Santorum told 175 pastors at a Texas church that the institution of marriage turned his whole life around by renewing and strengthening his faith. Santorum is seen as the most socially conservative Republican contender. He has overwhelming endorsements from top Christian leaders like James Dobson and Gary Bauer.
Mitt Romney edged out Ron Paul to win the Maine Presidential Caucuses on Saturday 39 to 36 percent respectively.
Various churches across the country celebrated what many Christians are troubled about: "Evolution Weekend". More than 500 churches in ten different countries took part in "The Clergy Letter Project" a group promoting Darwinism as sound science. Founder of the project Michael Zimmerman said Evolution Weekend was to promote interfaith dialogue regarding religion and science. But Mark Looy, chief communications officer for Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum said he found the observance "a sad state of affairs", that indicates a lack of trust in God's teaching.
What does it take a cruise ship to erase a nasty virus? A noro-virus outbreak forced the Crown Princess to return to port in Florida, ahead of schedule. This video shows crews hard at work, cleaning the ship. Many passengers complained about gastrointestinal illness, so the ship had to dock two days early. The Crown Princess went through an extensive two-day sanitization.

Legendary pop star Whitney Houston died this Saturday at age 48 . Although there were no signs of criminal intent, police are still investigating. Houston, who struggled with drug and alcohol addiction problems, old over 170 million albums, singles and videos. She began her music career singing gospel music in New Jersey at age 11; and ironically her last music in 2009…"I look to You"
