Creation West 2005 Begins Today
The, “three exciting days of great Christian music, inspired teaching, camping, friends and much more” gets off to a rockin’ start this evening.
SEATTLE, July 27 - Creation Fest 2005 West begins today at the Gorge Amphitheater, in George, Washington. The, “three exciting days of great Christian music, inspired teaching, camping, friends and much more” gets off to a rockin’ start this evening, beginning at approximately 6pm with sister rock trio Barlow Girl followed by The David Crowder Band, Relient K, and MercyMe, according to the Creation West website. Also featured on opening day will be the discourse Music, Message & Lifestyles (Part 1) given by rapper/speaker L.G. Wise, who will also be featured on the “Late Night Club” at midnight.
Creation West 2005 will be the eighth annual west-coast event since the festival’s founding in Pennsylvania in 1979. This year’s east coast event, which was held in Mt. Union, Pennsylvania, was the largest ever in Creation Festival’s 27-year history, drawing over 85,000 fans – a 15 percent increase from previous years.
Included in the vast array of artists and speakers scheduled for Creation West are Jeremy Camp, Shawn McDonald, KJ52, Bob Lenz, Mike Silva, Duffy Robbins, and many others.
