Cyber Monday Deals News: Some Travel Websites Now Offer Discounted Hotel Rooms, Airfares

With Halloween officially over, it is but understandable why people are now starting to plan their holidays. While others may already have planned their travel months ago, those who have just felt the desire to head somewhere to spend the holidays in another place may grab the best deals through Cyber Monday Deals.

It is officially November, and the joke has it that Americans have three major holidays to look forward to this month: Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and CyberMonday. While the last two are not really holidays, there is no denying that many people are, indeed, looking forward to those dates as they are the best dates to make a purchase.

While both Black Friday and Cyber Monday are almost the same, offering humongous discounts to shoppers, Cyber Monday is considered as more of the online counterpart of Black Friday. Relatively speaking, Cyber Monday is still new as it only began in 2005, but is said to becoming more popular as more people prefer to shop online. Without question, many look forward to this date, which happens on the Monday following Thanksgiving, which is celebrated every fourth Thursday of November.

This year, Cyber Monday falls on Nov. 27, but according to reports, travel websites such as Expedia, Travelocity, and Orbitz have already released various vacation packages in advance. While iExpedia is offering 40 percent off selected hotels valid through November 27 only, Orbitz has already announced that it is offering flight deals below $200 with a travel date until December 31.

Sky Scanner, on the other hand, offers an airfare price of $72 dollars from New York while a flight from Los Angeles carries a price tag for as low as $52.

Apparently, there are some restrictions on Cyber Monday deals as the travel dates and destinations offered at discounted prices may not always be in sync with the preference and schedules of a consumer. However, there is no denying that more and more people are looking forward to this day, which has already become almost synonymous with a holiday.
