Damon 'House of Lies' Guest Appearance: Sneak Peak

Matt Damon has agreed to appear on another television series, "House of Lies," as a guest this week.

Showtime's dramatic comedy follows a group of management consultants who relentlessly close business deals, often using deception and other cutthroat methods.

The network said that Damon would appear on the series as a "maniacal megastar" version of himself, reported CBS News.

On the Sunday, Feb. 10 episode of "House of Lies," Damon searches for a charity "bigger than Clooney's to bear his name."

"House of Lies" will not be Damon's only recent television stint. The actor appeared on several episodes of NBC's "30 Rock" last year, and just last month, Damon pretended to hijack Jimmy Kimmel's ABC talk show.

Damon will join "House of Lies" cast members such as Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell, and Ben Schwartz during his guest appearance. Watch a preview of the episode here. The video contains adult language and themes.

The television series will mark the second time Damon has worked with his "Ocean's Eleven" co-star Cheadle, who earned a Golden Globe Best Actor Award for his role on "House of Lies."

Meanwhile, Damon is staying busy with upcoming projects that includes the film "Elysium," that will also see Jodie Foster.

The "Good Will Hunting" star is also set to star in "The Zero Theorem" alongside Christoph Waltz.

Also 42-year-old Damon stars in HBO's upcoming TV movie/biopic "Behind the Candelabra" as Scott Thorson, the homosexual lover of legendary pianist Valentino Liberace.

Michael Douglas stars alongside Damon as the flamboyant and controversial pianist Liberace in the biopic. No air date for "Behind the Candelabra" has been announced yet.

Damon's credits also include the "Bourne" film series, "The Departed," "The Talented Mr. Ripley," and "Invictus," among many others. The Boston, Mass. native has been married to Luciana Barroso for four years, with whom he shares three daughters as well as a stepdaughter.
