Dania Ramirez Welcomes Twins

Dania Ramirez and her husband Bev Land welcomed twins on Tuesday, Dec. 17th, the actress' co-star announced.

The "Heroes" star announced her pregnancy back in July, and then two months later, confirmed that she was expecting both a boy and a girl.

On Tuesday, fellow "Devious Maids" star Edy Ganem took to Twitter sharing Ramirez's baby news.

"You guys!! Today is a VERY SPECIAL day bc @DaniaJRamirez has had her babies really early today," the actress posted. "Sending her love!!!"

Furthermore, Ramirez herself retweeted several comments on Twitter, but has not yet released an official statement with the names and weight of the babies.

During her Sept. 12th baby shower, Ramirez admitted that she thought she was pregnant with two girls, but was pleased with the mistake.

"I'm excited. I get the perfect couple," she said, according to People.com.

"[There are] a lot of girls in my family," she added. "But my sister actually has two boys- all of the girls were from our generation. I'm excited to get both because I'm such a girl's girl, so I get to have a little me, and then a boy me- I love it."

The Dominican Republic-born television and film actress married Land earlier this year. The children are her first and Land's second and third- the director shares one son from his previous marriage to actress Sharon Leal.

After their engagement in 2012, Ramirez told InStyle magazine that Land proposed with a custom-made ring of rose gold and white diamonds.

"He wanted to go for a vintage, old love them," she said, adding that he was "the one."

"The love of my life found me! That's how he would say it anyway since he claims he was attracted to my energy before I even turned around," Ramirez gushed.

Ramirez is best known for her roles on "Heroes" and HBO's "Entourage," but today, she stars on Lifetime's "Devious Maids" alongside Ganem, Ana Ortiz, and Judy Reyes.
