Danity Kane Reuniting Without Diddy?

Danity Kane, the girl group discovered by P. Diddy in 2005, may be planning on making a comeback this year.

The quintet comprised of Aubrey O'Day, Wanita "D. Woods" Woodgett, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres signed to Bad Boy Records after appearing on MTV's "Making the Band" reality series. They went on to release hit songs such as "Show Stopper" and "Damaged."

However, DK has not released any new music since 2009.

This week, reports indicate that the group met in Los Angeles in order to discuss a reunion after O'Day posted a picture to Instagram.

"We're starting a new verse like…" the singer posted along with a photo.

She also added, "I got a proposition if you want it… #DanityKane."

Only four of the five founding members were in attendance though, and the group met without manager Sean "Diddy" Combs.

O'Day, Bex, Richard, and Fimbres attended the lunch along with a new manager, according to TMZ. There is no word on whether Woods will join a possible comeback or not.

Moreover, there is speculation of a possible conflict over the ownership of the name Danity Kane due to the group being under Diddy's management and the product of "Making the Band."

The group's initial road to success saw many rumors of conflict and disbandment along the way, but DK fans are hoping the group has grown since their days on reality television.

Moreover DK fans have flooded Twitter with reactions to the news of a possible reunion on Tuesday.

"Due to the reconciliation and forthcoming album of my FAVE girl group DANITY KANE I will be blasting their first and second albums in full," wrote Kas.

Jarrell posted, "DANITY KANE is getting back together!!!! I have been waiting on this day!"

"This just made my day/life," Erica added. "I LOVE Danity Kane."

Cara posted, "AHHHH Im So excited!!!!"
