Detroit Tigers vs Boston Red Sox Live Stream Free: Watch Online Game 2 ALCS MLB 2013 Playoffs (Start Time, Fox TV Schedule)

Detroit Tigers vs Boston Red Sox in Game 2 of the ALCS will take place on Sunday night, after the Tigers took a series lead in the opener on Saturday in Game 1. Saturday night was an intense and very entertaining game, with pitching of the highest quality from both teams. Only a single run separated the teams as the Tigers took a 1-0 lead. Tonight's Game 2 will start at 8.07 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Boston will know how important it is to level the series with a win tonight, and they will send right-hander Clay Buchholz (12-1, 1.74 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in 108 1/3 regular season innings) to the mound to get the job done for them.

Meanwhile, Detroit pitched a perfect game on Saturday night, and they will be hoping that Max Scherzer (21-3, 2.90 ERA and 0.97 WHIP in 214 1/3 innings) can be as successful with the ball tonight.

As if the Tigers against the Red Sox was not an exciting enough proposition for MLB fans tonight, the pitching match up of Buchholz vs Scherzer should ensure this is a fantastic game.

Buchholz managed to get through a challenging game against the Rays in the ALDS the last time he took to the mound. He allowed three runs on seven hits and three walks, while striking out five across his six innings. That was not his best performance but is respectable, although the Red Sox did end up losing that one.

Buchholz has pitched slightly worse at Fenway Park than on the road this season (at home he is 1.99 ERA and 1.09 WHIP, where as on the road he is 1.40 ERA and 0.93 WHIP). Regardless of the difference though he pitched fantastically through the season.

Buchholz did not get the chance to pitch against the Tigers at all this season due to injury, and it should be interesting to see how he fares. Through his career against the Tigers he has a 3.58 ERA and 1.23 WHIP in 50 1/3 innings overall.

Meanwhile for Detroit, Scherzer has actually performed much better on the road than at home (he is 2.28 ERA and 0.92 WHIP at home, and just 3.55 ERA and 1.03 WHIP on the road this year).

The game will start at 8.07 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the Fox network or online through free live stream by clicking here.
