Dick Van Dyke's Neurological Disorder Causes Cancelations
Dick Van Dyke has been forced to cancel an appearance in New York City due to an uncertain neurological condition.
Van Dyke was scheduled to appear at an event for the 92nd Street Y (92Y) next week on April 26, according to reports on Thursday.
However, due to poor health, Van Dyke will not be attending the event.

According to the 87-year-old entertainer's rep, Van Dyke is suffering from "fatigue and lack of sleep resulting from symptoms of a yet-to-be-diagnosed neurological disorder," reported Entertainment Tonight.
Furthermore, the Hollywood legend has canceled other commitments that require travel based on the recent medical advice he received. Instead, Van Dyke will be resting at his home in Malibu, Calif.
Along with news of the cancelation, Van Dyke took to Twitter asking his followers for help with his medical condition.
"My head bangs every time I lay down," wrote the actor on Wednesday. "I've had every test come back that I'm perfectly healthy. Anybody got any ideas?"
He later added, "Thank you all for your advice!"
Meanwhile, Manhattan's 92nd Street Y had planned on presenting Van Dyke with the cultural institution's first Lifetime Achievement Award for Bettering Humanity through Comedy, according to People.com.
The event would not have been the first honor Van Dyke has received this year alone. On Jan 27, the actor received The Lifetime Achievement Award at the Screen Actors Guild Award ceremony.
Along his 7-decade-long career, Van Dyke starred in movies as well as on television as a writer, singer, dancer, actor, and producer. He is well known for his role in films "Bye Bye Birdie," "Mary Poppins" and "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang," as well as for his television series "The Dick Van Dyke Show."
The celebrated entertainer has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 7021 Hollywood Boulevard.
