Don Moen Company Acquires 3 New Christian Websites

The new entrepreneurial venture of award-winning Christian recording artist Don Moen has purchased three leading websites, according to a recent announcement.

The Don Moen Company purchased, a worship resource website;, an online center for worship planning and the digital delivery of worship resources; and, a discount Christian retail website.

"We believe that and are key to our strategy of serving those who plan and produce worship services in their churches," said Moen, whose name is associated with some of the most well-known songs in Contemporary Christian Music.

"Additionally," he added, " gives us a great entrée into the direct to consumer space."

"All three will be a great compliment to our existing MediaShout product line," Moen reported, referring to the media delivery software for churches.

It has been less than six months since Moen announced the formation of The Don Moen Company, which Moen hopes to use to provide resources for the Church, especially in the area of worship, and communicate Kingdom values to the culture at large.

"Our vision is to build a progressive enterprise that fully utilizes Don's strengths as a mentor, visionary leader and product creato r— in the U.S. and around the world," explained Chris Long, the company's chief operating officer.

"We intend to partner with organizations and leaders that have a passion for God's Kingdom," he added before the acquisition of MediaComplete, the company's first major acquisition.

With the latest addition of Web properties and the staff that developed them, Long said the company has moved closer to its goal of delivering both cutting-edge media presentation technology and life-changing content for ministry.

"We are especially excited about the innovations of, which, in addition to offering easy planning of worship services, as well as the scheduling and communication between worship team personnel, is the only worship planning software to legally offer both music and audio files from leading worship publishers,, Hillsong, Vineyard, Integrity and KingsWay," Long said in a released statement.

According to The Don Moen Company, and join the company's Direct division helmed by MediaComplete's president and CEO, Kevin Weimer. co-founder Kim Gentes will join the management team of The Don Moen Company as Chief Technology Officer. co-founder, Lockley Gentes, meanwhile, has entered into a long term consulting arrangement with the company.
