Donald Trump Approval Ratings October 2017: Rating Drops Dangerously Close to His All-Time Low

The approval rating of President Donald Trump has plunged once again, nearing his all-time low.

In the latest Gallup tracking survey from last Saturday, which is participated in by 1,500 U.S. adults, Trump's approval dipped to 35 percent, down to three from the most recent poll.

This stands as the second lowest rating Trump has ever gotten in his presidency with his all-time low at 34 percent. In addition, his disapproval rating continue to skyrocket.

The head of state got 60 percent, which is only a percent lower than the highest disapproval rating he has ever received in the survey. This means that many U.S. citizens continue to find issues with his presidency, which has been marred with controversy.

In another poll, this time by Marist participated in by 1,093 adults, it is revealed that 70 percent of the Democrat respondents in the survey believe that the Trump presidency will be one of the worst in history. Only seven percent of the Republican participants share that opinion.

Meanwhile, when asked if Trump's leadership will go down history as one of the best, not one Dominican respondent believed it would while 22 percent Republicans said that it could be the case.

Marist College Institute for Public Opinion director Dr. Lee M. Miringoff had this to say about the poll result:

Deep into his first year as president, Donald Trump's less than stellar approval rating has lowered expectations about how history will judge him. For history to treat him kinder, he will have to up his game.

While in the poll aggregator FiveThirtyEight, Trump received 37.8 percent approval, which is a bit higher than his all-time low on the site at 36.6 percent.

However, the website says that his stats still put Trump in a terrible spot seeing that no other president in the history garnered an approval rating as low as this within the 274 days of his presidency.
