'DWTS' 2013 Cast Pairings, Season 17 Celebrities Announced

This year's celebrity cast of "Dancing with the Stars" was announced on "Good Morning America" on Wednesday with their dance partners immediately following.

Just as it was revealed that Snooki would compete on season 17 of "DWTS," her dance partner was announced as a newcomer, Sasha Farber.

Moreover, "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" star Valerie Harper will hit the dance floor with Tristan MacManus, while "Saved by the Bell" actress Elizabeth Harper will dance with Val Chmerkovsky.

Next, "Glee's" Amber Riley will dance with "DWTS" current reigning champion Derek Hough, who won season 16 alongside Kellie Pickler.

The spectacular new season will also see "Pretty Little Liars" star Brant Daugherty dance with Peta Murgatroyd, while "High School Musical" alum is paired with Karina Smirnoff.

Also, comedian Bill Engvall is dancing with another "DWTS" newcomer Emma Slater, while Bill Nye "the Science Guy" is partnered with Tyne Stecklein, leaving NFL star Keyshawn Johnson to dance with Sharna Burgess.

Hit maker Christina Milian will be dancing with Mark Ballas while Ozzy Osbourne's son Jack Osbourne is partnered with professional dancer Cheryl Burke.

Lastly, "King of Queens" actress Leah Remini is dancing with Tony Dovolani.

The new cast was announced by Tom Bergeron and his co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet live from New York City's Times Square on Wednesday.

Season 17 of "DWTS" will kick off on ABC on Monday, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m.

This season, the show will only air on Monday nights, eliminating the Results Show that usually followed on Tuesdays in past seasons. The Monday night episode will be two hours long.

The reality television series first aired in 2005 and has captured America's interest with stiff competition and quality entertainment.

In the past, stars such as Julianne Hough, Kristie Alley, Maria Menounos, Pamela Anderson, and Jennifer Grey have appeared on "DWTS."

Other "DWTS" champions include "Bachelorette" star Trista Sutter, Evander Holyfield, Kelly Monaco, Drew Lachey, Harry Hamlin, as well as the show's host, Burke-Charvet, among many others.
