'Dynamic Chord' Anime Spoilers: Series to Feature Liar-S and apple-polisher Soon

The first episodes of the Japanese music-themed anime series, "Dynamic Chord," may have focused on the four-man rock band, rêve parfait, and the conflicted vocalist of the veteran rock band Kyohso, but there are two other bands that have yet to take their time in the spotlight: Liar-S and apple-polisher.

Liar-S just had their major debut and is therefore considered to be newcomers despite having been formed three years ago. Sakura Hinoyama does both guitar and vocals, Chiya Suzuno plays the guitar, Souma Saitou takes care of the bass, while Seri Yuisaki provides the beat on the drums.

As of the moment, very little is known about this band when it comes to the anime series, other than the fact that they are also signed with the Dynamic Chord agency and record label, much like Kyohso and rêve parfait.

On the other hand, the four-man rock band, apple-polisher, also has to make a significant appearance in the series, but this is not to say that they compare any less than the aforementioned bands.

The band apple-polisher has actually been performing globally, and their unique style of mixing dance numbers with their rock music is currently very popular among middle and high school students.

The band consists of Narumi Amagi on vocals, Yuusei Atoishi on drums, Yuki Aoi on guitar, and Shinobi Kurosawa on bass. It is said to have been formed around their guitarist, Yuki, a.k.a. UK.

The previous episode finally brought Reon Kashii of rêve parfait to where Yorito Kisaka of Kyohso was. And an unexpected and touching encounter between the conflicted vocalist and the photographer, Tatsuya Domyoji, may have just brought Yorito the forgiveness and closure that he needed in order to get back up on his feet and return to his band.

Does this also mean that Reon, who has been subbing for Yorito during Kyohso's practice sessions, can now finally concentrate on his own band?

"Dynamic Chord" airs on Thursdays late night at 1:58 a.m. JST on TBS and on Fridays late night at 3:09 a.m. JST on CBC. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official TBS page.
