Erin Moran Trailer Park Dilemma: Happy Days' Joanie Cunningham Facing Financial Hardship

Former Happy Days star Erin Moran, who played Joanie Cunningham in the hit 70's sitcom, is reportedly near broke and living in a rundown trailer park.

According to various reports the 51 year old actress, who played Richie Cunningham's little sister alongside Henry Winkler's "The Fonz," has been evicted from her California home and has had to move in to the run-down trailer park.

The actress has not managed to find any acting work for a few years, according to The National Enquirer, and she and her husband Steve Fleischmann have had to downgrade to a trailer to ease their financial hardship. They are even reportedly having to live with his elderly mother in the Berkshire Pointe Mobile Home Park in New Salisbury, Indiana.

According to The Enquirer, a source close to the family has said, "Life hasn't been kind to Erin since the foreclosure of her home. She and Steve moved in with his ailing mother at the trailer park a few weeks back. Erin is like an angel to her mother-in-law. She cooks and cleans for her and takes care of her personal hygiene. But to look at Erin today you'd never know she was once one of TV's biggest stars. Her peaches-and-cream complexion is a maze of wrinkles and crow's feet. She's aged terribly."

However, Moran isn't letting things get her too down, and she is reportedly in good spirits, often allowing those who recognize her to take photos with her, and even mingling with locals in her new neighborhood.

The source added, "It's been a rough few years for Erin and Steve. He's trying to make ends meet by working at Walmart, and all Erin can do is try and get back to work. But with her fading looks, that doesn't seem hopeful. For now, personal appearances are her bread and butter."
