Fan Kisses Reporter on Air During World Cup Broadcast (VIDEO)

A fan kissed a reporter during her broadcast of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Thursday, but the attractive Brazilian correspondent managed to keep her cool and continue doing her job. The Croatian soccer fan managed to sneak in the kiss while Sabina Simonato was unprepared, and the video has racked up hits since it aired.

The fan who kissed the reporter waited until Simonato had begun her report about the Croatia-Brazil soccer game before he came up and put his arm around her. She continued her report for SPTV, but the Brazilian reporter's shock barely registered when the Croatian man snuck in a peck to the cheek.

Simonato leaned back after she realized she was kissed and put her arm on the sly fan's shoulder, but he walked off camera afterwards.

Croatia lost to Brazil in the World Cup 3-1.

Being a sports reporter can be full of surprises, as another correspondent, Guy Junker, learned last year. The WTAE reporter was covering the Pittsburgh Pirates' crushing loss to the St. Louis Cardinals which ended their season, but nearly got a kiss instead.

During his report about the 6-1 loss of the Pirates, Cardinals fans began cheering behind Junker, holding up signs and being joyful at their team's victory. The sports reporter managed to ignore them for the most part, but couldn't ignore one female fan with her hair dyed red— she leaned in close to Junker and nearly kissed him during his live report, and he turned to her and smiled.
