Galaxy S3 Colors Coming Soon, New Pictures Available (PHOTOS)

New Galaxy S3 colors should be arriving in the near future as Samsung released new photos showing them off.

The smartphone will now come in Garnet Red, Titanium Grey, Amber Brown, and Sapphire Black in addition to the models that are currently available.

The Galaxy S3 launched in White and Pebble Blue, so the addition of the four new colors should boost the company's sales significantly. And with the unveiling of the iPhone 5, Samsung will need something to keep fans interested in what has been the most popular smartphone to be released this year.

"By expanding the colour range of the Samsung Galaxy S3, we are continuing to evolve the minimal organic design theme of the handset," said Minhyouk Lee, Vice-President and lead designer of Samsung Galaxy S3.

These new photos feature a front and back shot of the additional colors. The Sapphire Black model resembles the Galaxy S2 and Galaxy S.

The Galaxy S3 was released earlier this year and the smartphone has gone on to sell over 20 million units, according to Samsung who had high hopes for the device at launch.

Apple recently mimicked Samsung's strategy as the new iPhone 5 will be available in two colors including white and black. Multicolored smartphones have become a trend and these two devices are the year's biggest and best.

The iPhone 5 will be available on Sept. 21 and Apple began taking pre-orders for the device on Sept. 14. Apple has already reported that pre-orders have been sold out and it seems that this could be the largest iPhone launch to date.

This is the first times the smartphone's body has been altered as the new iPhone has a 4-inch screen. The Galaxy S3 finally has some real competition on its hands with this monster of a handset.
