Giuliana Rancic Returns Thanks to Prayers and Support From Fans

E! News correspondent Giuliana Rancic returned back to everyone's television screens just days after serious breast cancer surgery.

The host had a double lumpectomy, and lymph nodes removed on Tuesday after announcing she had cancer just a few weeks ago.

"The E! viewers have helped me to get through this and stay strong more than they will ever know and I will be eternally grateful to them for their love," she told E! News.

"Giuliana has had a tough year and a half. Between the IVF attempts and now with this, I wish I could carry some of the load. Watching her being wheeled into the [operating room] was heartbreaking for me," said Bill Rancic, her husband.

Giuliana spoke about her health issues and her public battle with trying to get pregnant as well.

"Sometimes I have to get [injections] 21 days in a row, three times a day. It's a lot. But you've got to do it," she said.

"I still have a long road ahead, but thanks to everyone's overwhelming love, support and prayers, it will be an easier journey."

Rancic told Ryan Seacrest in an interview that she felt she needed to come public about her diagnosis, in an effort to help empower and encourage woman everywhere to get tested.

“I feel like such a heavy weight has been lifted off my shoulders,” she told Seacrest concerning her condition. “I've been keeping this secret from a lot of dear friends for a while now and it’s nice to get it out there and not hide anymore.”
