GTA 5 Online Cheats for PS3, Xbox 360 Revealed: Rockstar Games Update Fails to Stop Infinite Money Cheat Being Found

GTA 5 online gamers are reporting that a new cheat for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles has been found, after some discovered a new infinite money glitch in the game. The news comes despite Rockstar Games putting in significant efforts to prevent GTA 5 online gamers from using cheats and glithces to get bundles of GTA $.

Gamers have been boasting about the new online cheats just a week after Rockstar Games released a patch to eradicate bugs that had been allowing some players to obtain excessive GTA$ without the necessary criminal activity.

According to GTA Onliner, "When a player gets an insured vehicle impounded, they can have a mechanic send them a new vehicle as soon as they respawn."

"However, with the proper timing, they can then request their personal vehicle -- which the game recognizes as the impounded car."

"The version that has been impounded will be destroyed, which allows the player to have it replaced, while retaining the version that was brought to them. This effectively duplicates the car, and they can sell the extra to quickly earn money."

Despite the new cheats being announced, some gamers have been responding saying that the cheats did not work for them, and there has been mixed feedback.

However, more than that, Rockstar Games has taken a strong line with gamers who continue to seek ways to cheat the record-setting game. The company has said that in addition to taking unlimited money away from players found cheating, they will also look to punish gamers by sending them to cheater pools where they cannot access the game, effectively banning them from Grand Theft Auto Online.

Rockstar Games said via its Newswire page, "We will continue to issue title updates on an ongoing basis to counter the negative impact this has had on gameplay..."

Some have been surprised with Rockstar's stance - considering the nature of the GTA game – and the company has even called for gamers to act as snitches on their fellow gamers if they know they are cheating.

"Should you ever encounter someone in GTA Online that appears to be taking advantage of exploits in your session, we ask that you alert us directly via the in-game reporting functionality," Rockstar Games has said.
