Gwyneth Paltrow Blasts Met Gala: 'I'm Never Going Again'

Gwyneth Paltrow slammed the 2013 Met Gala that she attended on Monday night, deeming it "un-fun" and "boiling."

Despite being among today's hottest stars, the "Iron Man 3" star did not hold back about her negative experience at the New York City event.

"I'm never going again," said Paltrow speaking to USA Today.

Complete with the theme "Punk: Chaos to Couture," this year's Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit included a star-studded fashion free-for-all with many celebrities dressed in unusual garb.

However, Paltrow, who wore a pink Valentino Haute Couture gown during the evening, did not enjoy herself in the least.

"It was so un-fun," the actress added, according to USA Today. "It was boiling [hot]. I did not enjoy it at all."

The annual Met Gala has become one of fashion's biggest nights over the past few years, but the words of the Oscar Award-winner could have lasting effects on the event's reputation.

Meanwhile, Paltrow had more positive things to say regarding one fellow Met Gala attendee while speaking to Entertainment Weekly. The actress gushed about the black Michael Kors worn by Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr.

"[The dress] was really beautiful," said Paltrow. "It was a little punk-y. She's just so pretty, it's abnormal."

Furthermore, Paltrow admitted asking Kerr about her looks.

"'Is it weird to be that pretty,'" the actress recounted asking Kerr. "And she was like, 'No.'"

However beautiful Paltrow may find Kerr, it was the actress herself that was selected by People magazine as this year's Most Beautiful Woman.

The mom of 8-year-old Apple and 7-year-old Moses explained that her usual beauty routine is very relaxed.

"Around the house, I'm in jeans and a T-shirt, I don't really wear make-up," said the actress. "That's what they're used to."

Furthermore, Paltrow husband, Coldplay front man Chris Martin, is also accustomed to her laid-back appearance.

"He'll make a joke about it," explained the actress. "If I've gotten fully dressed up, he'll be like, 'Oh, wow! You're Gwyneth Paltrow!' Because he's used to seeing me in like baggy shorts and frizzy hair."
