Gwyneth Paltrow Movie: 'Thanks For Sharing' Trailer Makes Waves

Gwyneth Paltrow caused a stir online after the trailer for her latest movie "Thanks For Sharing" was released on Wednesday.

The 40-year-old is known for her age-defying looks, but also for her excellence as an actress.

Paltrow, who won an Oscar in 1999, is preparing for the release of "Thanks For Sharing" which follows three different people who are dealing with sex addiction.

The actress portrays Phoebe in the unusual comedy and falls in love with a recovering addict named Adam, played by "Avengers" star Mark Ruffalo.

After hitting the Internet on Wednesday, the teaser for "Thanks For Sharing" revealed the actress in a risqué role.

In one scene, Paltrow is scantily clad in black lingerie. The two-minute clip also included the actress portraying the struggle with her onscreen boyfriend's sex addiction.

Despite the controversial subject matter, Paltrow explained why she joined the film project while speaking to The Globe and Mail.

"There's a line in the movie where somebody says something like, 'Isn't sex addiction just an excuse men use when they get caught cheating?' But actually, it is a real pathology," said the starlet.

"It was interesting to learn about it, see what the behavior is and what causes it, and how people are sober," Paltrow added. "It was very interesting. I learned a lot."

Furthermore, Paltrow described her upcoming film as "very funny" while speaking to Access Hollywood last year.

The drama comedy also stars such as Tim Robbins, Josh Gad and singer Pink, who is making her film debut.

"Thanks For Sharing" is expected to hit theaters on Sept. 20.

Meanwhile, Paltrow has had stayed very busy of late. The actress was named People magazine's most beautiful woman of 2013, and the "Iron Man 3" star is set to begin working on the film "33 Dias" sometime later this year.
