A number of Christian artists have released new music this week. Among them is Grammy Award-winning "Sunday Best" alumna Le'Andria Johnson who is debuting her lead single from an upcoming album that she is readying.
The new song is called "Bigger Than Me," a funky tune written by Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony ( Fantasia, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Tori Kelly). Johnson said she hopes the song will recharge people's spirit.
"Recording 'Bigger Than Me' was an epic experience! I am so excited to share this new song with you all," Johnson said in a statement obtained by The Christian Post. "Embrace and celebrate you and your special gifts! I pray this song blesses you and recharges your spirit, and I can't wait to hear what you think of it!"
The lyric video for "Bigger Than Me" is available here.
Independent Christian contemporary artist Martha Munizzi is also releasing new music for the first time in six years with two singles, "He Has Won" and "Fearless," which are available for download on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play outlets.
In a statement obtained by CP, Munizzi explained the concept behind her new music.
"'Fearless' is a warfare anthem that is a call to action for believers who have been tested and are battle ready. It's for those of us who know when they let out a shout of praise that they will find the courage to believe that God will intervene on their behalf," she said.
"'He Has Won' is a song that expresses our confidence and assurance about God's unconditional love and forgiveness, and is a declaration of absolute certainty that God has won the victory for us on the cross! I'm praying that these new songs will help create an atmosphere of God's presence through celebration and declaration that will cause followers of Christ to live a life of great courage and faith!"
