The Houston Rockets will take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday night in the final NBA 2014 Playoff game of the weekend. The No. 4 seeded Rockets will be favorites to defeat the No. 5 seeded Portland, however, the Trail Blazers have had a good season, and Houston should not take anything for granted despite having home advantage tonight. Game 1 of their Round 1 NBA 2014 Playoffs series will start at 9.30 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the TNT network, or online through free live stream (details below).

Dwight Howard will be hoping to lead the Houston Rockets to victory tonight. Last season the Rockets were a tough challenge for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the playoffs, and they have improved significantly this season with Howard now patrolling the paint.

Howard is the spine of the team; controlling the defense from the back line, but is also able to drive forward and penetrate opposition defenses when necessary to score points.

Meanwhile, James Harden is the star player of the team, averaging an impressive 25 points, six assists and five rebounds on 61.8 percent True Shooting.

He leads the offense for the Rockets and regularly punishes opposition defenses even when they appear to have everything covered. However, the downside to Harden's play is his porous defense.

If he does not focus on his defense in the Playoffs against the best teams in the NBA then he could be the weakness when opposition teams have the ball. However, if he can tighten up his play in that department then he will be one step closer to being a complete player.

The Trail Blazers meanwhile, have shooters from the first four positions on the floor, and they can punish any weaknesses in opposition defenses. They may have highlighted Harden as a potential weakness to try and take advantage of.
