The Texans have had a good start to the new season, winning two tight games against San Diego and Tennessee. The went on the road to San Diego to open up the season and left with a morale-boosting 31-28 win. Last week they hosted Tennessee and claimed another close win, 30-24.

This week they travel to Baltimore to face the Ravens who are touted as one of the strongest teams in the league this season. However, the Ravens have had a spotty start themselves to the new season, winning one and losing one so far.

In week 1 they were given a stark wake up call when they traveled to Denver and were trounced by the Broncos in an embarrassing 27-49 loss. They were able to bounce back last week when they hosted Cleveland, winning a very different, low scoring game 14-6.

This week the Ravens will know they have to be on top of their game to push back the threat from the Texans, and they will want Joe Flacco to put on a big game today. So far this season Flacco has completed 56 from 95 attempted throws for 573 yards and three touchdowns.

Torrey Smith has been his main target man receiving 11 throws for 177 yards, or 16.1 yards on average. Marlon Brown has supported well with 8 receives for 110 and two touchdowns.

The Texans have been one of the best all-round offensive units so far this season. They rank third in rush yards with an average of 146 yards per game, and ninth on the pass with 304.5 yards on average per game. In total yards they rank fourth with more than 450 yards gained per game, and in points scored they also rank high at third with 30.5 points per game so far.

Expect the Texans to come out and attack Baltimore today. Last week the Ravens only conceded six points against Cleveland as their defense held strong. However, this week they will be severely tested by the powerful Texans line-up.
