In the upcoming episode 2 of "How to Get Away With Murder" season 4, the Keating 4 will be dragged down by their past with their former mentor. Meanwhile, Annalise (Viola Davis) begins her journey to betterment.
On the next episode, titled "I'm Not Her," the Keating 4 will struggle to move on with their lives and careers because of how their reputations were stained while working for the now infamous Annalise Keating, according to the episode listing from The Futon Critic.
As seen from the episode 2 promo, the Keating 4 show up at a class gathering where Simon (Behzad Dabu) refers to them as "the lowest ranked people on the class."
Later on, Asher (Matt McGorry) — who is pissed at Simon — tries to get physical with him, but Michaela (Aja Naomi King) stops him and tells him not to lose his temper. And when the group finally looks forward to having a fresh start, they are bombarded with questions about how it was working for Annalise.
Meanwhile, Annalise is also struggling to move on with her life. However, she will be taking a step forward by rekindling with an old client with whom she has an important relationship with.
Aside from that, Davis shared with E! News at the Television Critics Association summer press tour that she's looking forward to seeing her character come back at the top this season.
"I guess she's reached rock bottom and she's trying to work her way back to being that badass Annalise in the courtroom, getting that career back, getting that life back. That's really what you're going to see this season," Davis revealed.
Unfortunately, it seems that Annalise has something to do with Laurel's missing baby.
"It all starts with Annalise. There will be an intersection where we see where everyone is on that night and how the stories converge. But her not being there is part of the mystery. Why is she not there? Did she have something to do with this?" showrunner Pete Nowalk revealed to Variety.
Fans can catch "How to Get Away With Murder" season 4 every Thursday night at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
