Samsung's ATIV line actually runs Windows Phone 8 OS. The company will provide more information on those devices later today along with more on some of the new Galaxy S4 phones that have been unveiled in recent weeks. That list of S4 devices include the Mini model, the water proof, dust proof S4 Active, and the Galaxy S4 Zoom camera based model.

The possibility of the Galaxy Note 3 making an appearance is up in the air; however, it would be a good time for the company to get the jump on some of its competitors who have begun working on smartphone-hybrid devices of their own.

Samsung first sent out the invitations for this Galaxy and ATIV event last month. The last major Samsung unveiling was for the Galaxy S4 which took place in New York City earlier this year. The company has been on a role this in 2013 as its new flagship has become its fasting selling smartphone ever. Samsung has been very aggressive in the mobile market and it seems to be paying off.

This next event is being held at the Earl's Court exhibition center in London.
