According to the report, the HTC One (M9) will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC and a 3GB worth of RAM. Display-wise, it will have a 5.5-inch screen with 2560x1440 QHD resolution display specs, an improvement from its predecessor.

A 16MP primary camera with optical image stabilization features can also be expected in the handset. It will also be powered with 3,500mAh battery.

GSM Arena also wrote that since Beats audio has already been bought by Apple for its exclusive use, the Taiwan-based tech company has to find another audio partner. The "new audio partner" could be Bose, which as the leaked image has shown, reveals a Bose stereo speaker integrated on the M9.

The HTC One M9 could also be shipped with an aluminum silicon-carbide composite casing.

As for the M9 Prime, the site indicates that just like the M8 Prime replacing the HTC One Max, it is also expected to be a substitute for a much bigger display phablet.

GSM Arena however noted that readers need to take the reports from the Chinese social media site with a pinch of salt as they have not been confirmed yet.
