Humphries Accused of Verbal Abuse

Kris Humphries has been labeled the “Husband from Hell” by this week's cover of Us Weekly magazine.

Since Kim Kardashian, 31, filed for divorce from the NBA star just after just 72 days of being married, she has been the target of critics with many suggesting her extravagant wedding ceremony was staged for financial gain.

The E! Network reality TV star is said to have had enough of the media backlash, making it her mission to expose Humphries as a villain.

Us Weekly has quoted sources close to Kardashian backing up the notion that Humphries was verbally abusive. The source states, "He tried to control Kim by bringing her down...He would say truly terrible things. One time, he said she had no talent and her fame wouldn't last."

Now a favorite on her family’s hit reality TV show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” Kardashian is said to build a million dollar empire reportedly earning up to $10,000 per mention on Twitter as one of America’s most recognized faces.

The sources suggest that Humphries who is currently experiencing the NBA lockout, was intimidated by his wife’s success which resulted in verbal abuse and taunts, "He belittled her in front of people…He’d call her stupid.”

Kim, whose full name is Kimberly Noel Kardashian, is reported to have made $18 million from her celebrity-studded wedding ceremony after selling filming rights to the E! network and wedding pictures to People magazine.

Fans were left furious after learning that Kardashian would divorce Humphries just after 10 weeks, leading to speculation that the marriage may not have been genuine all along and that perhaps it was crafted for publicity.

However the sources are adamant that the media have it all wrong insisting that Kardashian is the victim in this fiasco and not Humphries.

The sources imply that all Kardashian wanted to do was spend time with her newlywed husband but Humphries was never interested instead choosing to party and travel with friends, "He would tell her she was acting like too much of a wife and get over it."
