iPad 3 Release Date to Possibly be Discussed at Apple Town Hall Meeting

Apple's CEO, Tim Cook is calling all employees to join in on an online town meeting in order to discuss "some exciting new things going on" at the company.

The iPad 3 Release Date could possibly be one the topics that Apple employees will touch on at this meeting that is exclusively for them. The device is expected to launch within the next two months, according to the latest rumors.

"Thanks to everyone's hard work, we're off to a great start in 2012," said Cook in a company-wide email to employees. "Last week in New York we launched a groundbreaking initiative for education with iBooks textbooks, and today we reported the strongest quarter in Apple's history."

"Please join me tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. in Town Hall," continued Cook. "We'll review our record-setting results and discuss some exciting new things going on at Apple. The meeting will be broadcast live to many sites in Cupertino and other Apple locations. Please check AppleWeb for details."

These Town Hall gatherings are usually restricted to Apple employees and tech blog, MacRumors feels the company will not speak about anything too exciting at this one. It took place on Tuesday and details from the meeting should begin to leak as the week progresses.

Apple recently reported its strongest quarter in history so the company still seems high off the news and excited to move on to its next big thing.

iPad 3 the logically the next big device to be announced since most experts are predicting that the tablet will launch no later than March of this year. Apple will most likely hold a media event in February announcing the device and release it a month later. More details should start to surface in the coming weeks.
