iPhone 6 Rumors: Logic Boards for 4.7-Inch and 5.5-Inch Models Compared in New Pictures
The iPhone 6 is rumored to feature two sizes with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models and pictures of both of their logic boards appeared on the internet earlier this week.
The photos show the components side-by-side and also feature the board from the iPhone 5s. Both boards meant for the new models are larger than the version found on the iPhone 5s. The boards for the iPhone 6 also feature a long arm that extends across the top of the device. MacRumors claims this is support for NFC.
Although these components have not been officially claimed by Apple, their similar appearance to previous iterations helps to cement their legitimacy. They also both feature Apple-like part numbers.

This will be the first time since the iPhone 5 that Apple will make a significant change in screen size for its flagship handset. It will also be a much bigger increase as the 5 gained just half an inch from the 4s.
The iPhone 6 release date should be coming soon as the device will begin entering into production this month.
Reuters recently reported that the 4.7-inch model manufacturing phase will commence before the end of July and production for the 5.5-inch version will begin sometime in August. It also states that Foxconn is set to hire about 100,000 new employees to meet the future demand for the device. Pegatron will also ramp up hiring for device's release and Foxconn plans to deploy around 10,000 robots to help employees with the less intensive tasks.
Apple normally unveils the new iPhone models in September, and this model will probably be no different. With the device entering into production in July, the company should be ready to debut the 4.7-inch model around the time. The 5.5-inch version might come a little later.
