There are so many unsung heroes in our everyday life, people who do all the jobs and things the rest of us take for granted.

How would our society function without all the crossing-guards, janitors, truck drivers, and other blue-collar workers?

One of those unsung heroes is Mr. Patton, a custodian for at an elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee.

Patton hasn't only effectively cleaned the school facility, but he's also been a source of positivity for the young students.

In return for all he's done, and with the backing of the Kleenex company, the students and their teachers honored Patton for his work.

When a school administrator contacted him about a major spill in the gymnasium, Patton thought it was business as usual.

Instead of having to clean a mess, Patton got something far more touching and it even drove him to tears!
