Jenelle Evans' Boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, Released on $5,000 Bond After Car Chase With Police

"Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans bailed out her boyfriend Nathan Griffith after he was jailed for several offenses stemming from a car chase with police. It was a turn of scenario for the "Teen Mom 2" star who was recently jailed for 48 hours following a failed drug test.

Griffith was busted on DUI, speeding, driving on the wrong side of the road, resisting arrest and driving with a suspended license, Radar Online reported. It was an early morning chase on Saturday morning in South Carolina, and Griffith was arrested, with bail set at $5,000.

This time, instead of Evans being the one behind bars, Griffith remained in jail until Evans came up with the funds needed to bail him out. Even though she was in the car at the time of the incident, Evans was not charged with any wrongdoing and was immediately released.

Less than one month ago, Evans found herself in jail after a surprise drug test during a court appearance. She served 48 hours and, when released, was greeted by Griffith. The young mom has had her own legal problems, as has Griffith. This is allegedly his third arrest for DUI, which could lead to serious legal recourse when he appears before a judge.

Both have children who are not in their custody: Evans' son Jace is in the care of her mother, Barbara. Griffith's daughter lives with her maternal grandparents. Griffith and Evans have moved in together and will be seen throughout the upcoming season of "Teen Mom 2," which Evans has been on for the past four seasons.

The three were spotted at a water park not long after Griffith was released, and Evans tweeted how much fun they were having together and the fact that Jace "loves being with mommy and Nathan!" She also tweeted plenty of pictures throughout the day and labeled one "Happy Family."

The new season of "Teen Mom 2" will air sometime this spring.
