Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux Set Wedding Date After Location Drama?

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux reportedly had a recent breakthrough after allegedly putting their wedding on hold and a new report claims the couple has now set a date.

In recent weeks it was claimed that the pair, who got engaged in 2012, had hit a stumbling block as they reportedly could not agree on a wedding location and future living arrangements. Aniston, 44, is said to be intent on living on Los Angeles while Theroux, 41, prefers New York, however in recent days they reached a compromise, according to Mail Online.

"Jen and Justin have gone back and forth on where to marry and whether to have a destination wedding so many times. Jen has always made it clear LA was her first choice and Justin has compromised and agreed to marry in California," a source told MailOnline.

"Justin's reservations with LA are well known and he wanted to marry on the East Coast where his friends and much of his family is based, where he proposed to Jen and where he feels most comfortable," the source added.

While it was claimed that the former "Friends" actress had previously declined Theroux's requests for them to relocate to Manhattan because she feels as though she is living in a "fish bowl," a source insists this was never the case.

"Contrary to popular opinion, Jen does not hate New York- she studied there growing up but it's now become too intense for her. She has made it clear how much it would mean to her to get married near where they now live and where she is happiest and feels most settled," the source said.

"They won't at their recently renovated Bel Air mansion but will likely use their home to host an intimate reception," the source added.

Despite ongoing questions surrounding the pair's engagement, Aniston is reportedly confident that she and Theroux will wed in December.

"[Jennifer] knows they will get married eventually — she loves him and knows that with or without a marriage certificate, they will be together," a source told In Touch.
