Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Split Because of Scientology?
Following the announcement last month that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony would divorce, reports are now surfacing that a major reason for the split was Lopez’s religion.
According to Daily Mail sources, Lopez is a Scientologist and it was this that caused the core division in the relationship rather than Anthony himself being the issue as previously reported.
"Jennifer and Marc couldn't see eye-to-eye on the subject. She's always been more into the church than him. He wasn't a huge fan and it caused problems," said the source according to The Daily Mail.

The source said the former couple argued about the schooling of their twin children, Max and Emme. Lopez reportedly wanted her children to attend Scientology school while Anthony disagreed.
The argument ultimately led to the couple’s split, according to The Daily Mail.
According to MTV UK, Lopez spoke about her children attending Scientology school way back in 2008.
"I wouldn't mind. Not at all. Because I know that the technologies that they have are very helpful," Lopez said of the school. "It's all about communication. I just wish that people wouldn't judge it without knowing what it is."
Although the two may not be able to agree on schooling for their children just yet, the entertainers have been agreeing to meet for the sake of their children. Last week, Anthony and Lopez were spotted in New York together which fueled reports of the two reconciling their differences to make their marriage work.
Anthony’s representative confirmed that the two had a good time together, not for the reasons many suspected.
"The intention was to spend time with his kids Emme and Max, and they had a beautiful time,” Anthony’s representative said. “He's been with Max and Emme a few times now,"
The two were married for seven years before the announcement of their split. While Anthony was recently spotted performing in Costa Rica, Lopez is preparing for her next movie, “What To Expect When You’re Expecting.”
