"Guess who broke her wrist yesterday boxing to get fit for season two!;( I will be spending the weekend resting in my pjs," she tweeted on Saturday.

On Sunday, she thanked everyone for offering her support.

"Thanks for all the well wishes. Have a great rest of the weekend everyone!" she added on her Twitter.

"The Client List" was introduced in April of this year, but has had mixed review thus far. The show is based on a true story about a mother who turns to prostitution in secret in order to support her family. Hewitt received a Golden Globe nomination for the film, which shared the same title.

The new show however, has not be received by the public as well. Overall review of the show seemed to go only as far as to call the show "mildly entertaining."

Was her sports injury worth spraining an ankle over? Some fans are in doubt. Hewitt, however, remained grateful and optimistic. In a third message on her Twitter account, she said that she would not be letting her injury get in the way.

"Thanks for all the concern about my wrist. Has slowed me down but hasn't stopped me. Have a great day," she tweeted on Monday. The next season of "The Clinet List" is not anticipated until 2013. No word was given as to how Hewitt's injury might affect the taping of the show.
