Jennifer Love Hewitt Pregnancy Confirmed

Jennifer Love Hewitt confirmed Tuesday that she and boyfriend Brian Hallisay are expecting their first child together. The actors have been dating for a little over one year, and expressed excitement at the news.

"We're so thrilled and happy to start a family," Hewitt and Hallisay said in a statement to Us Weekly.

This will be the first child for both Hallisay and Hewitt, and they are thrilled. "This is a wonderful time and we are looking forward to starting our family together," the couple added in a statement to Just Jared.

Both 34 years old, the couple met on the set of the short-lived television series "Love Bites." However, the actors were reunited on the set of "The Client List," which just wrapped its second season on Lifetime.

Hewitt is reportedly three months along in her pregnancy, making her due date likely to land in the fall.

Coincidentally, despite the pregnancy, Hewitt was named in Us Magazine's recent "Hot Bodies" issue. Furthermore, the actress recently opened up about staying fit while speaking to a women's fitness magazine. Hewitt addressed her previous struggle to accept criticism and maintain a positive body image.

"I'm an actress, I live in L.A., I work in Hollywood," the star explained to Women's Running magazine. "But I've learned that if you're too skinny, they'll say something about it. If you're not skinny enough, they'll say something about it."

Hewitt went on to say she has finally embraced her naturally curvier body. "I just try to feel good in my own skin as much as I can," she said. She also discussed her fitness regiment with the magazine.

Hewitt's workout routine includes yoga, Pilates, and running on an incline. The actress also noted that participating in marathons is a passion she picked up from her late mother, Patricia, who died last June.

"I enjoy running, but she was a runner," the actress recounted. "She loved it and was able to go miles and miles. The first time I did a big run was the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Los Angeles [in 2010]. It was a blast- I absolutely loved it." She has not yet discussed how her pregnancy will affect her workout regiment.
