Jessica Chastain Filming, Actress Cries at Wrap

"The Help" actress Jessica Chastain has admitted that she hates bidding farewell to her co-stars at the end of filming.

The 30-year-old red-haired actress added that she loves getting to know her castmates on each movie set, and that adjusting to seeing them less frequently after the movie wraps is difficult.

"When I first started, I'd think we're all best friends now and we love each other. And then I'd be heartbroken a month later when no one returned my calls," said Chastain according to the Post.

"I usually cry in the trailer on the last day of filming, when no one else is around except hair and make-up [people]. I always have a cry," she divulged.

Chastain had a big year last year with six films premiering, and earned over 35 critics awards as a breakout star. For her role in "The Help," the actress received Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, BAFTA, and an Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress.

During this year's Academy Awards, Chastain was named on many "Best Dressed" lists. The actress was accompanied to the awards ceremony Sunday by her grandmother and wore a black and gold strapless Alexander McQueen gown.

"There was something about the embroidery of this dress," said Chastain speaking to The Hollywood Reporter.

The actress continued, "It felt larger than life -- and this is a larger-than-life moment. I always wanted to be an actor. Most little girls dream of their wedding dresses; I grew up dreaming of my Oscar dress."

Chastain was nominated for her supporting role in "The Help" but lost the Oscar to her castrate in the film, Octavia Spencer.

She will appear in the upcoming John Hillcoat prohibition era drama, "The Wettest County in the World." Also, Chastain recently completed a film adaptation of Oscar Wilde's "Salome" alongside Al Pacino.
