A decision had not been made on whether or not to try Foster in those cases.

Daily News Wire services reports that the Prosecutor, Don Cocek, said Foster owed his victims almost $200,000.

After the verdict, Foster reportedly told the presiding Judge, Gregory Dohi, he would continue building homes in order to pay back the victims of his scam.

"I don't think you get it," Judge Dohi told him. "You can never do this kind of work again."

Dohi cited Foster’s indicating in court that he had no intentions of removing business advertisements as to why he needed to be jailed immediately.

Foster acted as his own attorney and in his defense he insisted he was offering a solution to the affordable housing crisis when he offered to build economical modular homes out of cargo containers.

The homes were to be solar-heated, and have three-bedrooms and two-baths for less than $100,000.

Gerry Ramirez, a victim of Foster, said that Foster would tell victims that he was the father of Jodie Foster in order to “build credibility”.

Jodie Foster has starred in film classics including "The Silence of the Lambs" and “Taxi Driver.”
