Jon Hamm Robbed With Girlfriend in London

Jon Hamm and his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt were robbed while visiting London recently.

The Hollywood A-listers were dining at a restaurant when a robber snatched Westfeldt's hang bag, according to Life & Style magazine. More problems ensued when the robber was then able to break into the couple's hotel room, stealing additional items.

"They were dining at a restaurant and Jennifer's purse was snagged," a source close to the incident told Life & Style. "That person took the hotel key in Jennifer's purse, which has the hotel name on it, and robbed their room. They had to contact the police, it was horrible."

Hamm, who stars in AMC's hit series "Mad Men," confirmed the incident through his agent, who noted, "I can't comment as it is an ongoing investigation."

Additionally, Westfeldt commented on the robbery while in New York over the weekend.

"What a mess," said the 42-year-old actress, who co-starred with Hamm in "Friends With Benefits."

"I'm not feeling' great. It is under investigation," she said, according to the New York Post.

The pair have been dating since 1997 and were in London promoting "Friends With Kids."

"Some people would say that they could never work with their partner, but we found it incredibly bonding," said Westfeldt of working with Hamm on the film, according to Cover Media.

"Independent films are so stressful; it feels like pushing a boulder up a hill," she added. "So it felt fret to have a partner in crime."

Westfeldt wrote, directed, and starred in the film, which she and Hamm produced.

Hamm stars as Don Draper in "Mad Men," which just finished its fifth season. The critically acclaimed series also stars John Slattery, Christina Hendricks, January Jones, and many others.
