Jump5 to Appear on Disney Christmas Parade

“Television’s happiest parade” just got a little happier as confirmation was received that Jump5 will join the 20th Annual Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade on December 25. The event will be hosted by Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa along with American Idol finalist Clay Aiken.

The parade, which has an impressive line-up of artists including LeAnn Rimes, will air on ABC-TV Christmas Day from 11:00AM to 1:00PM EST and 10:00AM to 12:00PM PST.

Jump5 just hit their last Christmas tour venue on December 21 in Corpus Christi, TX. The tour saw two sold-out shows with second show in Murfreesboro booked by popular demand. Just finishing a 13-city tour and the members of Jump5 still have the energy to now fly to Florida to jump at the chance of appearing in the parade. Why is that you ask?

“Traveling is awesome and I love singing and dancing, but the most amazing part is that I have the freedom to talk about God onstage in front of a captive audience,” explains Libby Hodges of Jump5. “You can tell that the people just want to know more; often times, there’re a lot of little kids who generally don’t have a large attention span, but they’re just totally captivated when I talk about God and it’s so cool because it’s all Him, shining His light through me.”

Wait! They’re not finished yet! The group will shortly resume serving the crowds with their musical gifts in 2004. More things can be exciting things can be expected from Jump as they promote their latest album, Accelerate.

Lastly, the first official online chat with the members of Jump 5 will be on December 27th at 4:00pm CST on the Jump5 fan club site.
