Fans of Bieber took to Twitter to speak about the potential engagement of the entertainment couple.

"So many people would flip but if Justin and Selena at some point announced they were engaged I'd be happy," a Bieber fan tweeted. "They're so cute! Selena Bieber lol."

However, another fan cautioned Bieber against a possible proposal saying, "Don't do it."

Despite the opinion of others, Bieber has not been hesitant about speaking about the love he and Gomez share.

Last month, Bieber spoke with Radio Disney's "Celebrity Take with Jake" about Gomez's love for him, indicating that it reflects 1 Corinthians: 13:4 (NIV) in the Bible that states "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud."

"I'm loving and patient and kind and gentle," Bieber said.

Aside from those traits, Bieber also spoke about the importance of being honest with his girlfriend.

"You just have to be honest, that's the first thing, because if you're not honest, then the relationship is just not a good relationship," Bieber said. "At the end of the day, your girl would appreciate you being honest more than lying to her and vice versa."

Aside from honesty, Bieber has made it clear that he and Gomez share a special intimacy.

"Romance isn't dead," the crooner tweeted after treating Gomez to a "Titanic" movie date at the Staples Center last year. "Treat your lady right fellas. #REAL."
