Justin Bieber released the video for his hit new song "As Long As You Love Me" on Wednesday and fans have hailed it as his best ever.

"As long as you love me / We could be starving, we could be homeless, we could be broke / As long as you love me / I'll be your platinum, I'll be your silver, I'll be your gold," Bieber sings.

The music video begins with Bieber being threatened by his love interest's father to stay away from her but as more scenes unfold, a rebellious Bieber is later seen sneaking away with his forbidden love despite her father's stern warning.

The teenage heartthrob sings about living in a "cruel world" and "fighting" for love. Next, viewers are faced with gruesome scenes of the father savagely beating a helpless Bieber after he and his love interest are caught possibly attempting to runaway together.

Fans of the 2-time Grammy nominee flocked to social networking site Twitter where they appeared to be swooning over his latest project.

"One of the best video ever!!! Justin Bieber - As Long As You Love Me ft. Big Sean," Diana Malik tweeted.

"Wow. Justin Bieber's As Long As You Love Me Video was truly amazing," Rajavi Yadav tweeted.

"I am actually OBSESSED with the ALAYLM video. so so so good," Jenny DeLuca tweeted.

The music video immediately went viral on social networking site YouTube and sales are expected to mimick that of his first single single from his "Believe" album, "Boyfriend."

"Boyfriend" sold over half a million downloads during its first week, earning the singer the second highest number of first week sales ever. It also reached the number one spot on iTunes in at least 33 countries, according to Digital Spy.
